Although I started out as strictly a landscape painter, I have become obsessed with drawing and painting the human body and face. Traditionally, artists have honed their skills and displayed those skills by making images of the unclothed human figure. Sometimes I find myself trying to paint both the figure and the portrait in a single piece. All of the time, I am working from a live model, or at least from my own drawing done from a live model–never from a photograph. This is a point of pride, because it’s not easy working from a live model. They move!

Hi Aline
I just stumbled upon your site. It looks great and I am thrilled to see 2 photos of paintings you’ve done of me.
Let me know of any modeling opportunities you may know of for drawing or photography
See in fall at SLG
