The paintings on this page represent many hours spent outside — in good weather and bad — with NH Plein Air artists and other artists. That so many are scenes from the White Mountains is due to the twice-a-year (May and October) Artists’ Weekend, which brings out painters from as far away as Florida to the Bartlett Inn. Other geographical areas represented, in alphabetical order, may be Auburn, Candia, Canterbury, Concord, Contoocook, Dunbarton, Goffstown, Holderness, Jaffrey, Keene, Londonderry, Mt. Vernon, New London, Newmarket, Pittsburg, Sugar Hill, Tamworth, and Webster.
